Aikido of Northampton: Instructors

Todd Sensei Todd Martin Sensei (pictured at left) has been training in Aikido for 24 years. He began his study at Northampton Aikikai when he was eleven years old. He trained for four years as an uchi-deshi (live-in student) with Yamada Sensei of New York Aikikai and started Aikido of Casper, in Wyoming, in 1998. Todd now holds the rank of 5th degree blackbelt (godan). He returned to Aikido of Northampton as head instructor several years ago. Todd Sensei teaches Monday, Wednesday and Friday evening classes at Northampton Aikikai.

Other Instructors: Susan Wolk is a 6th degree blackbelt who was head instructor at Aikido of Northampton for 25 years. She now visits to teach occassionally. Eric Hardendorff (at right) is a 4th degree blackbelt who has been training for 20 years and is senior student and occassional teacher at Northampton Aikikai. Karen Peterson (also at right) is a 2nd degree blackbelt who teaches Saturday morning Aikido classes. Will Kirkpatrick (below with Karen) is a 2nd degree blackbelt who teaches Thursday evening Aikido classes.
